Higher Education Scholarship FAQs

A lot of students have the same questions about our scholarship program. I am posting some of the most common frequently asked questions. A longer list is available on our website http://www.apicda.com/index.php?page=document&id=48. If you have additional questions please feel free to leave a question/comment on this post and I will answer your question(s).

Q: When is the Higher Education Scholarship deadline?

A: July 1st is the deadline for the fall and spring semesters
November 15th is the deadline for spring semester only
All applications must be postmarked by the deadline to be accepted. No late applications will be accepted.

Q: What do I need to do to re-apply for the higher education scholarship?

A: If you received a scholarship for the previous school year you must submit a new application packet. We keep your acceptance letter on file as well as your two letters of recommendation. So you do not need to resend these items unless you change schools then you will need to submit your new acceptance letter in your application packet. All other items are required in your scholarship packet including contacting your CLO.

Q: Do I need to contact the CLO of my community each year that I apply?

A: Yes, click here to find out who your CLO is and how to contact them http://www.apicda.com/index.php?page=training_education&subpage=clos

Q: What information do I need to send APICDA if I change schools?

A: If you change colleges you must provide APICDA with your acceptance letter form your new school and a copy of your registration.
