Electrical Training Camp-Application Deadline April 11th

Below is an upcoming training camp in King Salmon for electrical training. You can contact the Aleut Foundation for applications and more information about the training. This is the second training camp offered by The Aleut Foundation and CH2MHill. This training camp will give you the skills needed to gain employment on the slope with CH2MHill.

The Aleut Foundation in partnership with SAVEC and CH2MHill are now accepting applications for the electrical training camp in King Salmon. The deadline for the completed application is FRIDAY, April 11, 2008.

All applicants need to either fax, mail or drop off their application to The Aleut Foundation office at 703 West Tudor Road, Suite 102 Anchorage, AK 99503. Selected applicants will need to be in King Salmon from May 11-31st, 2008. Travel scholarships are available to eligible Aleut Corporation Shareholders and their descendents.

1. New updated STEP Grant Application
2. SAVEC Application
3. Copy of high school or GED (attached Alaska request form) Transcript ~ this will need immediate attention to obtain before deadline. Have local high school or GED Office in Juneau send directly to: SAVEC, ATTN: Annette Wilson, PO Box 615, King Salmon, AK 99613
4. Copy of Valid Alaska Driver’s License
5. Letter of Interest
6. Copy of current W-2 or pay stub for work verification (Applicants do not need to be currently employed but must have contributed to Alaska unemployment insurance benefits within the last 3 years)
